Ingredients
4 pieces of fish, any kind
2 tablespoons coriander powder
tablespoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons vinegar (or equivalent lime juice)
flour, for coating
1 tablespoon garlic paste
oil ( for frying)
Preparation
Directions
Step 1
Mix all wet and dry ingredients with the exception of flour and oil to make a smooth paste. Add a little water if needed.
Step 2
Wash and dry the fish. On a cutting board or in a large bowl, coat the fish fillets with the paste from step 1 coating evenly. Marinate for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Roll fish in dry flour.
Step 4
Heat the frying oil in a skillet over medium heat. Shallow fry the fish for 5 minutes on each side. Drain the fish of excess oil on paper towels before serving.
